Big Sky Country

This meal offers another greta variation to backpacking breakfasy=ts (or any other meal I guess). Tasty and filling way to start the day. I will be buying more of these

I had not tried this particular Mountain House meal but the Homestyle Chicken Noodle Casserole was as good as most other meals from Mountain House. Will buy again.

I've used the Big Sky Deluxe Ultralight pillow for several years. This current order was for a spare pillow for me and pillows for other family members. I've tried using other pillows (Exped, Thermarest, and my spare clothes bag) and the Big Sky is the most comfortable. The cover washes well. We regularly backpack in the desert were it seems everything has thorns or needles. While all of my sleeping pads have developed leaks, the Big Sky pillow has not so far.

The pillow is really lightweight and I love how the pillow cover is a carrying case in itself. If you want to go ultralight, you can always take the TPU bladder only. The material is soft and stretchy, and it makes no sounds. The included strap on the pillow case is a bonus. I hope it lasts me a long time.

The best tent I've ever had. Used it during my 1,5-year-long backpacking trip, sometimes in really harsh conditions, in the mountains, in downpours and in gale-force winds.

The old one started getting too old though, after 9 years of intensive use. What a disappointment now - I can't order the same version any more. The breathable fabric option has been unavailable for many months. Mesh is unacceptable for me as I need the tent for windy and cold conditions too. Any chances of the fabric coming back?

I own 3 UL pillows but this one is by far the best. It is the lightest, widest, and has a natural curve to the center which keeps your head stable throughout the night. Best part is that with the concave center I don’t lose my pillow from under my head in. The middle of the night - a common problem with other UL pillows. I love throwing my BUFF / neck gator around it as a pillow case as well. This is the best UL pillow out there. Hands down.

I just spent two weeks backpacking with this and the Deluxe - yes, I took two pillows...because they're light enough to take two pillows! I was surprised at just how comfortable a TPU inflatable could be - perfectly spaced / placed divots for your head, great size, and no "balloon" feeling like I've gotten with other simple inflatables. I slipped a buff over it for softness against my skin and it worked like a charm - excellent ultralight option when you want a little comfort!!

I am a backpacking pillow snob and have tried them all, both as a gear reviewer and as a frequent backpacker. I just returned from a two-week trip using the Deluxe and I experienced the best sleep I've EVER had on trail, hands down. The attached strap kept the pillow in place all night (I use a Thermarest NeoAir XLite with the slightly curved top), and the baffled design with the two divots created kind of a perfect cradle for my head. The cover felt good against my skin, and the light layer of insulation gave it additional softness. I was able to sleep comfortably on my side and on my stomach. Just an all-around fantastic pillow - truly a game changer for me, sleep-wise!!!

This will work very well. Not only is it ver lightweight, its put together well and will be fantastic at handling repacked mre’s on my climbing trip. Based on reviews I’ve read, some people try to put the entire mre packet in a larger pouch. But youll save more weight if just repack the meals into quart size ziolock freezer bags. This size works PERFECT. A much better alternative to hyperlites exceptionally small pouch.

This is simply the best tent I have ever had for bike packing in variable temperatures. I have literally covered thousands one miles and crossed numerous continents with the Chinook 1P tent and have been recommending Big Sky International tents to everyone I meet! Definitely well worth buying
